GLORY and U-NEXT sign exclusive distribution agreement for Japan

The world's largest kickboxing organization GLORY and U-NEXT concluded a distribution partnership agreement. U-NEXT will be exclusively Live Streaming all GLORY events as SVOD live.

U-NEXT Corporation, a USEN-NEXT GROUP company, has concluded a distribution partnership agreement with the world's largest kickboxing organization GLORY in Japan. Starting with "GLORY 81" on August 21, 2022 (Sun) JST, all future GLORY events will be exclusively available for SVOD live streaming to the subscribers. In addition, over 1,000 episodes of past bouts, including K-1 World Grand Prix from 1996-2016, will be available as library contents.

Established in 2012, the kickboxing organization GLORY has signed famous fighters such as Peter Aerts, Jerome Le Banner and more. As the world's premier kickboxing organization, GLORY has hosted numerous global matches between top fighters and has garnered tremendous attention, including the announcement of a partnership with the Japanese kickboxing organization "RISE" in 2022.

U-NEXT has recently concluded a distribution partnership agreement with GLORY in Japan. U-NEXT will continue to provide exclusive live streaming of all "GLORY Kickboxing" events, including the Numbers Series, Rivals Series, and Collision Series held by GLORY.

The first live streaming event will be "GLORY 81" to be held on August 21 (Sun) JST  in Germany, where RISE Lightweight champion Naoki will be competing in GLORY's Featherweight division. The main event will feature a must-see matchup between Jamal Ben Saddik, ranked No. 2 in the Heavyweight division, who wowed the audience in Japan in 2013 against Peter Aerts, and Benjamin Adegbuyi, ranked No. 5 in the same division, who is coming off a KO victory against former K-1 champion Badr Hari in December 2020. The match is a must-see. All eight fights will be streamed live on an SVOD, so don't miss out.
