Micheletti
2-3-0 (1 KO) Brazil

A stellar amateur career laid the foundation for Felipe Micheletti’s entry into the professional ranks.

Born and raised in Sao Paulo, Brazil, by his teenage years Micheletti was already the size of a grown man.

Ironically, this led to a need to learn how to defend himself, due to strangers picking fights in a bid to prove a point by beating the large youngster.

So at the age of 16 he started training in kickboxing. He quickly fell in love with the sport and in just a few years he was racking up titles.

Among the credits to his name as an amateur are becoming the Brazilian national amateur super-heavyweight champion, WAKO Pan-American champion and WAKO world champion.

By 2009 he was 30-7 as an amateur, with 15 of those wins by stoppage. He decided to turn professional and quickly established himself as a contender on the Brazilian circuit.

The level of competition being higher in the pro ranks, Micheletti dropped down to heavyweight and light-heavyweight. There he encountered names like Alex Pereira, Saulo Cavalari and Guto Inocente.

As those three names were making their way into GLORY, Micheletti was venturing onto the international circuit via fights in China and Europe.

Eventually he had the record and experience necessary to earn his own call up to the GLORY ranks, where he now adds to the number of standout Brazilian talents on the roster.
